October 30, 2009 No CommentsYesterday, Main Street Campaigns announced its coordinated effort to reform Illinois politics through the Put Back reform amendment at a press conference in the Union League Club of Chicago.
In our attempt to make public institutions more transparent, productive and accountable we will begin the task of making government put the public interest over special interest.
Looking around it is not hard to see that the political system is broken and needs to be addressed.
