Main Street Campaigns is an organization that thinks by coming together ordinary people can achieve extraordinary results. In a time of unparalleled challenge, we should look nowhere before looking to Main Street to rise above the halls of power and meet the demands of our time.

We will set out to bring together people from all across Illinois; Edwardsville and Rockford; democrat and republican; young and old. All will be engaged to solve such problems as health-care coverage disparities, education inadequacies, a faulty legal system, and a detached political process.

All too often leaders in public life lack connection to the issues and struggles that confront people living outside centers of influence. This organization seeks to tear down this divide by building a consensus where it counts-in your homes and in your communities-to make social institutions work for you the way you need them to work.

Illinois has a tradition of great leadership. From the time that President Lincoln stood up for the nobility of cause in Gettysburg, to the time that a little known leader called for change in Springfield, it has always shone has a beacon of guidance throughout America. It is that time again.

Therefore, we are ready to research, publicize and energize the people of Illinois in order to come together for solutions that mean something to all of us in our health, legal, educational, and political systems. With your ideas and with your passion we will work to shine a bright light into the dark shadows of corruption and despair, inefficiency and incompetency, for the good of this great state.
